Alex now in his third season with Spartans was signed from Whitby Town after who he played for after spending a number of years with Scarborough. In season 05/06 he was awarded the Port of Blyth player of the year. Had a late start joining the squad this season, as Alex had to complete his coaching commitments in Texas.
