The Player of the Month Award is sponsored by the Port of Blyth
March 2007 - Robert Dale
The Port of Blyth Player of the Month is Robert Dale.
Not unsurprising Rob has been unable to repeat his fabulous goal-scoring
tally of last season. However, he has continued to produce match winning
displays, parading his undoubted talent and occupying the attention
of at least 2 opponents at all times. Rob’s reward is his selection
to join the Middlesex Wanderers – a squad selected from the best
non- league players in England - on their tour to Tanzania during the
summer. Well done Robert.
February 2007 - Scott Bell
The Port of Blyth Player of the Month is Scott Bell.
Scott continued his fine form, scoring another 3 goals in February bringing
his tally so far this season to 16 and moving him to 4th spot in the
Conference North Top Scorer Table. But Scott also wins this award for
his overall contribution to the team, because as usual, he has worked
tirelessly off the ball and again produced some superb link up play
with his fellow forwards.
January 2007 - Christian Graham
The Port of Blyth Player of the Month is Christian Graham.
Chris started in fine form, scoring the first goal of the year for the
Spartans in a superb one – nil win at Scarborough on New Years
Day. He has carried on throughout the month producing tenacious, as
well as creative performances from the centre of midfield.
Well-done Christian, Port of Blyth player of the month for January 2007
December 2006 - Andrew Leeson
The Port of Blyth Player of the Month is Andrew Leeson. Andrew who played in every competitive game for the club last season, has so far carried forward his impressive record, playing in all 26 of our games to date this season. As usual he has been ‘Mr Consistency’ - playing in many different positions and always producing a great performance for the team. Well-done Andrew, Port of Blyth player of the month for December 2006.
November 2006 - Adam Bartlett
The Port of Blyth Player of the Month is Adam Bartlett. Adam, a valuable close season addition to the squad, has performed superbly throughout, but it would be difficult to better his perfromances at both Nuneaton and Worcester. Both games weere played in difficult conditions nad without his assured handling and great shot astopping the reults could have been quite different.
October 2006 - Alex Gildea
The Port of Blyth Player of the Month is Alex Gildea. Alex has once again this season proved to be a consistent performer, with excellent skill and appears to cover every blade of grass in each game.
During the month he has produced some fine displays, the best being at home to Lancaster when he added another two, to his goal-scoring tally.
Well-done Alex, Port of Blyth player of the month for
October 2006.
September 2006 - Scott Bell
Scott really came good again during the last few days of August, scoring 4 goals in the final 2 games of that month. He has continued his fine form into September, scoring another 4 goals. The best of the bunch being his first against Harrogate, completing an extremely fine performance, described by Graham Fenton as ‘awesome’. Lets hope he continues to add to his impressive tally on a regular basis.
Well-done Scott, Port of Blyth player of
the month for September 2006.
August 2006- Ben Christiansen
